More on me:
I went to pre-school in St. Margarette's Nursery School. I spent all my elementary years in La Salle Academy. My greatest achievement there is my winning 1st place in the singing contest for the whole elementary level. I was in the 6th grade. I spent my 4 years of high school in the Integrated Developmental School (IDS) of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). I entered many singing contests there, winning a consistent 2nd place. My greatest achievement there was graduating (the school's a killer I tell ya!) and winning a silver award for a paper I wrote on my Dengue Fever experience.
On Harry Potter:
When this whole Harry Potter craze started in 2001, I wasn't at all interested. I was in my last year of high school and I really thought it weird when some of my classmates simply burst out about HP. I didn't have any plans of getting involved with the craze until December 2001, my family and I went to spend a bit of holiday shopping in Cagayan de Oro city. It was my parents who convinced me to watch the movie. They told me they heard great things about it and well...my twin bro and I weren't exactly enthusiastic about it. When we stepped out of the movie theater, I found myself speaking with an English accent. I absolutely looooved the movie! My whole family does! When the second movie came, I was the first of all my classmates to ever watch it. I skipped a class just to watch it! I'm also the first of all my friends to see Prisoner of Azkaban! (Okay, okay! I was second! Geez!) Harry Potter has brought back the inner child in me as well as in my parents. HP has helped us communicate too. Now, I read all the books and can't wait for Book 6!!! Though a lot of people complain about the movie being not at all like the book, it's different with me. I found myself fascinated by how the movie people compressed several pages of the book in to two hours of film. You've gotta admit...a lot of scenes in the books don't really add up to the main plot. But that was before I watched PoA. I have to admit the third movie was rather disappointing. So much of the book was altered. I just hope they don't do that to GoF.
Thanks for reading all about me. I hope to provide you with more entertainment in this site in the near future.
